We do have mental health nurses, ND nurses, practice nurses, GPs, physio, dentist, optician, podiatrist, psychiatrist, psychologists and administrators!! And we do have an exciting opportunity to for a Band 7 Clinical Matron of our Integrated Mental Health team providing a level of care to up to 420 men, that is at the least equivalent to what they would expect to receive in the community.
Main duties of the job
Healthcare delivery in prison is never dull or predictable - it is very rewarding. Every day will bring new challenges and new experiences to you as a qualified professional. The Integrated Mental Health team consists of senior mental health nurses, ND nurse, psychology, support workers and psychiatry provision who provide a stepped model approach to care provision and cover all aspects of mental health needs. The team provides case management and group work. The team have good working relationships with the Prison staff which is reflected in excellent health outcomes for our most vulnerable men.
