Job summary
As part of an integrated role, the post holder will work flexibly to deliver an effective pharmacy service. This role will be rotating on a rotational basis between Dispensary and Medicines Optimisation.
The Dispensary principle role is to participate in day-to-day routine activities of dispensary, leading the team and working towards accreditations including FACP.
The Medicine Optimisation Technician principal role is to provide support in the Clinical Pharmacy service as part of the Medicines Optimisation Team. This role will include Medicine reconciliation, assessment of patient's own drugs, counselling patients about their medicine, discharge facilitation and ward and dispensary-based medication supply. Working towards Medicines Optimisation accreditations.
