Are you an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with an interest in Stroke and Neurology?
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills and make a significant impact on the recovery and rehabilitation of those who have recently had a stroke or have new neurology.
We are a supportive team who are keen to invest in your development and support you to become a specialist in Stroke and Neurology. Whether you've already decided that you'd like to work in Stroke and Neurology or if it's an area that you'd like to try, we are pleased to have the expertise and welcoming team to be able to support you.
We can offer the role as a new or experienced band 5 with opportunities to progress to a band 6 after an individualised supportive development plan. Or starting as a Band 6 if you have sufficient relevant experience.
Main duties of the job
To provide high quality, patient centred care to individuals who have experienced a stroke or other neurological conditions. This will include specialist acute assessment and treatment including group work and education and advice.
You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapy programs that promote independence and enhance the quality of life for our patients.
