Job summary

To provide outpatient clinic and day-case foot surgery within a surgical environment in line with Somerset NHS Foundation Trust current policy, governance, commissioning and evidence-based context. To influence the future development of podiatric surgery by contributing to its evidence base at a regional and national level.

Accountable for the delivery of high-quality Podiatric care within a clinical area or pathway.

Responsible for delivering expert clinical practice with specialist clinical reasoning.

Contribute to evaluation and development of clinical practice within the specialism ensuring compliance with National and local guidelines and frameworks

Contribute to service improvement and development of the clinical area or pathway.

Main duties of the job
