Job summary

We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Service Assistant to support our community hospital services. This is a varied role where you'll work closely with the Facilities Team Leader, Housekeeper, and other staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Main duties of the job

  • Cleaning and maintaining ward areas, patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, and public spaces in line with National Cleaning Standards.
  • Assisting with portering tasks, including moving equipment and delivering meals.
  • Supporting catering duties, such as preparing and serving food safely.
  • Monitoring stock levels and ensuring safe use and storage of cleaning products.
  • Complying with Health & Safety, COSHH, and infection control procedures.
