Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for three motivated and well organised individuals to join our already established Radiology central bookings team located at County Hall, Taunton.

The job role involves providing a high quality bookings service for patients in line with internal guidelines and within set national targets.

This is a very busy role with a high volume of calls and would suit customer care driven individuals who are able to use their initiative and have the ability to cope with the demands of the service and work effectively as a team member.

Main duties of the job

To be the first point of contact answering inbound calls/making outbound calls to patients, referrers, relatives, carers and other members of staff routinely throughout each day.

Proactively engage with clinicians/GPs/staff and patients to enable an effective patient flow through the pathway.

To manage patient lists operating in accordance with National and Local targets ensuring efficient and effective use of out-patient slots.
