Job summary

To provide a high quality, professional administration service to the Estates and Facilities directorate.

Supporting the operation of an efficient and well-organised helpdesk, ensuring a smooth experience for our service users while contributing to a comfortable and welcoming hospital environment.

The core role will be to provide a friendly, efficient, customer focused administration, helpdesk service for the directorate, supporting achievement of local and wider Trust objectives comprising providing a professional service to staff, contractors, and visitors ensuring they are appropriately assisted whether via face to face, telephone or other method.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the role includes logging of maintenance tickets, taking phone call queries, and regular communication with estates and facilities department managers.

Liaise with Trust customers and internal/external maintenance providers. To provide administrative support for the Estates and Facilities Helpdesk, to include calls for Medical Electronics, Soft and Hard Facilities.

Assist with the staff ID badge process, ensure requests are handled promptly and efficiently and ID badges are produced in compliance with Somerset NHS Trust policies and standards.

The post holder will need a flexible approach to work and be able to respond to changing priorities and maintain confidentiality and discretion with certain tasks.
