Sterile Services Distribution

Job summary

To be responsible for providing an efficient distribution service of re-usable medical devices for use in direct patient care within Taunton & Somerset NHS Trust.

Main duties of the job

*To ensure any deliveries are scanned out (dispatched) by using T-Doc traceability system.

*To use electric tug, master mover or manually move trollies for delivery or collection of equipment from Theatres/Wards or Departments.

*To collect and deliver goods in inclement weather whilst either using electric tug, master mover or manual trollies.

*To work with minimum supervision whilst in the Department but to use initiative whilst around the Hospital, refer to team leader for guidance.
