Our Integrated Community Stroke Service (ICSS) delivers intensive rehabilitation within patients' homes, clinics and group settings using state-of-the-art mobile technology, ensuring patients are kept at the centre of all decisions, goals, intervention and discharge plans. Our aim is to broaden access to our stroke patients across Somerset and specialist inpatient and ongoing community stroke rehabilitation.
The team consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists and Rehabilitation Assistants who jointly provide patient centered specialist rehabilitation to patients.
To support this service, we have the opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and experienced additional administrator to work as part of the team and contribute to the efficient countywide service.
The post-holder will work as part of a team providing comprehensive administrative services including receiving and processing referrals, telephone duties, typing of correspondence and reports and the organisation of client appointments including creation and posting of relevant letters and forms.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as part of the countywide Integrated Community Stroke Service.
The Integrated Community Stroke Service enables the accelerated discharge of Stroke and Acquired Brain Injury patients usually to their own home or normal place of residence from district or community hospitals.
The post-holder will work as part of a team providing comprehensive administrative services including:
*Administer and coordinate referrals processes
*Clinically targeted data collection
*Clinical administration
*Clinical Data input into RiO system
*Creating and updating Excel spreadsheets
*E Roster administration and maintenance (if required to )
*Telephone duties
*Word processing
*Scanning
*Filing
*Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail
*Arranging appointments
*Ordering of equipment
*Booking rooms
*Use electronic dictation.
