Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Specialist Grade Dermatologist to join our dynamic Dermatology team. This role is designed for a clinician who has developed expertise and clinical independence in dermatology and is looking to contribute to high-quality patient care across outpatient and community services. The post holder will play a key role in delivering specialist dermatology services, participating in multidisciplinary clinics, and supporting service development. Main duties of the job
To organise, manage and be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of patients in MPH in conjunction with consultant colleagues in the Dermatology Service. To participate in the teaching of Foundation and Junior Doctors in clinic. To maintain a good working relationship with existing staff members in the Hospital. To attend other Hospitals within the Trust if requested by the supervising Consultant. The post holder will undertake, exceptionally, to perform additional duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.
This is a permanent post suited to doctors with significant dermatology experience who are looking to practice at a senior level, just below Consultant grade. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals, playing a key role in service delivery and development.
