Recruitment Officer - Band 4 opportunity
Full-Time 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid role working 2 days per week on site at either County Hall, Taunton or Yeovil District Hospital.

We are looking to recruit a proactive and well-organised Recruitment Officer to join our friendly Recruitment Service at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about recruitment and committed to providing a seamless and efficient experience for hiring managers and candidates.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process with Oleeo, including assisting with shortlisting candidates, writing job adverts and interview questions
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to hiring managers on best practice recruitment
- Managing high-volume recruitment within Neighbourhoods Service Group
- Overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, from advertising vacancies to onboarding successful candidates.
- Leading social media recruitment campaigns to attract top talent
- Attending vacancy meetings, supporting the Talent Acquisition Lead, and providing/reviewing recruitment data.
- Managing the Oleeo recruitment system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Organising and attending recruitment events, including open days and careers fairs, focussing on employer branding.
- Ensuring compliance with NHS employment checks, including DBS, right-to-work, and professional registration verifications.
