Job summary

Based in the Xray Department working as part of a small, dedicated Portering Team.

Primary role is to collect patients from the wards to attend x-ray appointments using chairs or beds.

Transporting equipment such as Medical Gasses, Linen and other products relevant to the role.

Main duties of the job

Collect Patients by bed or chair from the wards and take to pre-booked x-ray appointments and return them afterwards. Replace Medical gasses as and when required. Take clean linen from the linen room to the department. Remove used linen to appropriate used linen cupboard using trolly provided. Take equipment to various departments as needed.
