Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the Therapy Team at Yeovil District Hospital. This is a rotational position and will offer exposure to different areas such as Respiratory including ITU, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Orthopedics, Neuro, Medical Rehabilitation, Frailty and Reablement at a bedded unit for rehabilitation. This is the perfect place to get NHS experience.

Main duties of the job

You'll join an experienced Team involving Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Rehabilitation Assistants and be competent to provide Physiotherapeutic management for patients in a variety of rotations.

This is an ideal opportunity for you to develop your understanding, skills and knowledge of Physiotherapy within an acute setting and also have opportunities of experience at bedded rehabilitation units.You will be working closely with the Multi-Disciplinary Teams on the wards providing comprehensive assessments and interventions supporting patients through rehabilitation and discharge planning with support of Senior therapists.

This post will include Bank holiday and weekend working as the service runs over seven days.
