Join Our Innovative Intensive Treatment Team as a Clinical Team Manager!

Are you a dynamic, motivated, and confident leader with a passion for mental health? We have an exciting opportunity for you to lead our pioneering Intensive Treatment Team within Somerset CAMHS.

As a Clinical Team Manager, you will oversee a team of skilled and experienced professionals dedicated to providing high-quality, intensive support to young people. Your role will involve managing daily operations, resources, and staff, all while fostering innovation and excellence in service delivery.

You will bring a deep understanding of child and adolescent mental health services, contributing to the broader goals of our service through collaborative efforts, specialist consultations, and training. Your leadership will be vital in service development, research, and the supervision of other professionals.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring exceptional care and treatment for patients, working alongside your team and partner agencies to address the holistic needs of young people.
  • Conducting complex assessments, formulating interventions, and supporting clinicians in managing crises and understanding the unique challenges of CAMHS.
  • Providing clinical leadership and supervision to your team, ensuring best practices and maintaining high standards.
  • Managing a clinical caseload for 50% of your time, taking personal and professional accountability for your work.
