Job summary

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Assistant Stock Controller to join our busy Stock Control team whose primary focus is maintaining the integrity of the Trust's inventory system Atticus.The Assistant Stock Controller will provide support in a range of daily routines and system-related tasks along with stock merchandising and counting in various locations around the hospital.

Main duties of the job

This role will support the Stock Control team in a range of duties related to the management of Atticus and other associated procurement systems. These tasks may be varied depending upon the workload and requirements of the stock control team.Main duties include but are not limited to:*Assisting with stock control routines on a daily or periodic basis*Interrogating the system to assist Atticus users and to resolve various issues*Compiling system reports as required*Merchandising, system validation and cycle counting as per agreed schedule*General administrative tasks as directed by the Stock Control teamIt is envisaged that in the future there will be opportunities for the successful candidate to progress within the team.
