Job summary

We're excited to be offering you the chance to join our team of 25 consultants, as a consultant cross-sectional Radiologist. This new post reflects the ever-increasing demand for cross-sectional imaging in a friendly and expanding radiology department within a hospital rated by the CQC as Good, and Outstanding for caring. As the dominant provider of diagnostic imaging in the county we work closely with colleagues in surrounding Trusts to deliver services to a catchment of over 544,000.

Main duties of the job

An interest in musculoskeletal, thoracic, head & neck, or neuroradiology is desirable, but we will happily consider candidates with other subspecialty interests. You'll work in a department with 5 MRI scanners, 5CT scanners, 5 Ultrasound bays, as well as benefiting from onsite static PETCT scanner and purpose-built oncology centre.

As well as this, we work in partnership with Taunton Diagnostic Imaging Centre to provide further diagnostic services to our patients. Additionally, we have recently merged with Yeovil District Hospital.
