Job summary
Do you have an IT background and experience of using different systems?
Somerset NHS Foundation Trust are recruiting for 2 Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developers to join our Solutions Development Team.
We currently have 2 RPA Developers in the team, and we are looking to double this due to an increase in workload following our recent merge and the drive for efficiency. The team currently saves thousands of hours in clinicians time and with you on board there is potential to significantly increase the support that we can offer to our clinical colleagues, freeing up more of their time for patient care.
The role offers potential for remote working subject to project requirements, with 1 day a month in county hall in Taunton with the rest of the team.
Main duties of the job
As RPA Developer your role will be to support the development of process automation solutions across a range of technology platforms and integrated 3rd party systems.
You'll support a range of teams (both clinical and non-clinical) within the Trust and support the delivery of automation processes to support and improve patient care and business efficiency.
This is a unique role offering the opportunity to bring your IT skills to the NHS in Somerset. Experience in RPA development isn't essential as we can offer full training, however a knowledge of software development, technologies and processes would be beneficial.
