You will be part of our friendly and supportive community team, working with Podiatrists to assist our high-risk clinics where we provide foot ulcer care and prevent limb amputation through multidisciplinary team working.
You will be expected to be flexible to meet the needs of the service. In return we will offer an exciting role within a forward-thinking team with opportunities for career progression. If you have great interpersonal and organisational skills, enjoy a challenge and are passionate about patient care, this is the role for you.
What is in it for me?
Flexible working patterns
Market leading annual leave - 27 days + BHs
Career conversations and 1-1 personal support
Access to apprentice programmes to become a qualified Podiatrist
Blue Light Card discounts at more than 15,000 retailers
Market leading pension contributions
Agenda for Change pay increments
In-house physiotherapy support
Main duties of the job
Experience of working in a care setting would be advantageous but all necessary skills training, professional updates and mandatory training as appropriate to the post will be provided.
Full details of duties can be found in the job description.
Due to the need to travel to different locations, it is essential that the post holder has a full UK drivers licence drive with access to their own vehicle and appropriate insurance.
The service operates 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) between 8.30am and 5.00pm.
Although the role is primarily at a Podiatry hub location such as Bridgwater, Taunton, Yeovil and Glastonbury, there are other clinics that will require support from time to time.
