We are currently looking for a Facilities Service Assistant to join our friendly team at your local community hospital.
Bridgwater CommunityHospital has abusy 30 bedded inpatient unit, a Minor Injuries Unit, Outpatient Department, Physiotherapy Department, X-ray and birthing unit and several other clinical areas and offices.
The vacancy we currently have available is for 20 hours per week, following a 2-week rolling rota which consists of the follow shifts:
Week 1 - Tues, Wed, Thurs & Fri 2pm-7pm
Week 2 - Mon, Tues, Sat & Sun 2pm-7pm
Please note you may be asked to cover another site on occasion
Main duties of the job
The role involves cleaning departments within the Hospital such as inpatients, outpatients, X-Ray, toilets, meeting rooms, offices as well as cleaning on the ward
You'll help to play a key role in our ongoing fight against hospital acquired infections by ensuring that the ward is cleaned on a regular basis to a consistently high standard and make a valuable contribution in the wider care team that supports a patient during their time in hospital.
Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
