Job summary
This post provides an excellent opportunity to work on the middle-grade rota alongside Severn Deanery trainees in a friendly District General Hospital. The department is led by an extremely supportive Consultant body who are strongly committed to providing a high level of training to all members of the team.
A 1:8 on-call rota means that there is a good mix of exposure to acute and elective operating, time spent in outpatient clinics, and protected sessions to pursue audit and research projects which are actively encouraged. Regular teaching, interview and exam practice is also provided within the department.
