Job summary
Our Nurses are real lifehealth care heroes, and we are seeking compassionate peoplewith experience of working in a hospital environment to join our integrated trust.
We have a 16 bedded critical care unit and we pride ourselves on delivering consistent, high standards of holistic care. This is reflected in our ICNARC data, performance metrics and feedback from patients, relatives and visitors to our unit.We are seeking self-motivated critical care nurses with a commitment to professional development, who aspire in making a positive contribution to care given to critically ill patients.
We value our nurses highly, so development and training within this role will be offered and prioritised. You are the greatest investment we can make. There is an expectation that hours are worked flexibly which includes nights and weekends but this can be full and part time - we understand that life happens!
You will require good communication skills, a team work approach and be able provide a high standard of nursing care with the support of your team.

Main duties of the job
Experience in Critical Care is desirable; however we also invite applications from nurses with transferable experience in an acute care setting, including newly qualified nurses. You will care for level 2 and 3 patients, some of whom are involved in the most current research trials.
The applicants should be able to demonstrate the use of evidence based practice and be proactive in managing change. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, together with a readiness to innovate and develop nursing within a team approach.
