As a Health Care Support Worker within our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues in a professional and compassionate environment for Older Adults who are experiencing a range of mental health difficulties.
We are seeking a compassionate and motivatedperson who enjoys interacting with others, has a positive attitude, and can work well as part of a team. As part of your role, you would be expected to work flexibly across both wards, and to work shifts, including night duties when required.
This role would provide an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in caring for Older adults. We are keen to support your professional development through learning, and encourage our staff to develop theirskills and areas of interest through link-working.
Main duties of the job
Pyrland provides specialist in-patient care and assessment for Older adults with a range of mental health problems. Weoperate as twowards, one of which caters for people suffering from dementia. Our other ward caters for those experiencing acute mental health problems such as depression and anxiety.
At Pyrland, we have a strong emphasis, as a team, on working closely with relatives and carers in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. We are also committed to maintaining high standards and constantly seeking to improve the quality of care our service users receive.
