Job summary
The key responsibilities for the role will be:
Working within inventory management team and responsible for your own tasks within your department / s. You will work on your own initiative and communicate with clinical teams and managers to ensure maximum stock availability for patient care. Attend clinical huddles and team meetings, email, and face to face communications. Also analyse and investigate issues, provide progress reports and feedback recommendations to the clinical team and line manager. If appropriate ensure products are tracked to locations and /or patients and any discrepancies investigated.
Ensure compliance of the inventory management system and replenishment routines:
Stock ordering, Inventory cycle counts, out of stock and low line counts, chasing suppliers for late deliveries, waste management, stock rotation, receipting goods and maintaining the department planograms
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate will have previous replenishment experience in either a retail or similar inventory based role.
Be passionate about providing exceptional standards, enjoys working in a team, can role model self-motivation, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
Be physically fit and able to lift and transport stock.Deliver and maintain a high level of service to the clinical services and departments across the trust.
- To ensure the optimum amount of stock for both the delivery of excellent patient care and from a financial perspective.
- It is essential that the Supply chain manages and controls the supply, distribution and replenishment of consumables to ensure the right product is available in the right place at the right time, whilst minimising both waste through stock obsolescence and clinical staff time in ordering.
