Job summary

The Solutions Developer Specialist is responsible for designing, creating, implementing and maintaining IT systems and bespoke solutions across the Trust using a variety of technologies.

This will involve developing, supporting and maintaining interfaces, system integration and other technical developments.

Main duties of the job

  • Lead on system, integration and interface development projects.
  • Work as part of a team to develop functional systems using industry standard programming languages and frameworks.
  • Provide Leadership, Technical Support and guidance for the Senior Solution Developers.
  • Provide expert technical support in relation to systems integration and interfacing, medical device integration, systems rationalisation and development.
  • Lead the development and support for bespoke software, interface and integration solutions. Ensure that a high-quality IT service is provided to all users of trust systems in accordance with defined policies, procedures and service level agreements.
  • On occasions to deputise for the Solutions and Interfaces Lead.
  • Create software code according to established standards.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy and support digital solutions (clinical, administrative and information) and systems integration.
  • Present proposed and completed developments to product owners, project teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to the change control process.
