Job summary
Due to investment and expansion of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) we are seeking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker as a Mental Health Practitioner (Band 5)/Senior Mental Health Practitioner (Band 6) for our CAMHS Community Team in the West of Somerset. This is an exciting time to join our CAMH Service, as we develop our community and urgent care offer to children and young people in Somerset.
We are looking for individuals who are keen to work with children and young people struggling with their mental health in the community. We have positions available for qualified mental health nurses, social workers and occupational therapists. We welcome applications from newly qualified members of staff who we can support via a progression route within the service.
Main duties of the job
You'll join the team in supporting children/young people presenting with a broad range of complex difficulties including anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, trauma and those presenting with associated risk.
The hours of work are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
