Job summary

Rowan ward is a 15 bed mixed gender facility based at the Summerland's Site in Yeovil. With a health based place of safety. We are in the process of building another purpose built acute ward onsite. We are AIMS accredited and recently undertaken reaccreditation.

Main duties of the job

The role involves responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care and the promotion of issues of equality and diversity in accordance with good practice and legislation.

We can offer you a supportive and welcoming environment with access to supervision, appraisals, psychology services such as reflective practice groups, and regular opportunities for both formal and informal training. There is a strong focus on staff wellbeing on the ward so you can be confident that you will have the support you need to continue to provide good clinical care.

The successful candidate must be confident, approachable, and sensitive to the issues faced by people who are in the most acute and challenging phase of their journey towards recovery.
