Job summary

Are you a registered professional with existing leadership experience or a clinician who is interested in developing their leadership and management skills?

Then we have the perfect opportunity for you to join the Community Mental Health Service in Yeovil as a Team Manager.

We have a 12 month fixed term post to cover maternity leave.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership and management of the Yeovil Community Mental Health Service team, providing services to patients in accordance with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, controls and resource constraints.

Within this role you will work alongside existing team managers to support the delivery of community mental health services in Yeovil. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the transformation of services whilst supporting day to day functioning of a community Mental Health Service.

As part of the role will continue to ensure a high standard of care and treatment for patients and to work with other members of the team and other agencies to best meet the patients' health and social needs.

You will play an active role in the development of services in line with the Trust's Strategy and Business Plan and willprovide management supervision to staff within the team as well as providing strong clinical leadership.
