An exciting opportunity has arisen for our team as a fast track Booking Officer in the Contact Centre.
This is a part-time role and the hours are:20 hours per week
Monday - 9.30am -2.30pm
Tuesday - 9.30am -2.30pm
Wednesday - 12pm - 5pm
Friday - 12pm - 5pm
5 hours per day
The successful post holder will assist in delivering a smooth and efficient administrative service, contributing to patient care and MUST be able to work the above shift pattern and set hours.
Main duties of the job
You will need to be able to work in a calm, logical and methodical way but be able to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions, and you must possess effective communication skills whilst always maintaining patient confidentiality.
You must be confident, diplomatic and able to work in a busy environment with a pleasant and caring disposition.

- 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications including English Language Grade A-C
- NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Service or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience.

- Proven experience of providing customer focused service.
- Proven experience in an administrative role
- Proficient IT skills including keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft packages
- Proven experience of effective communication including with distressed, anxious or angry individuals and able to escalate where appropriate
