Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transaction Assistant to join the Finance team.
We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team of Transaction assistants to deliver a high-quality service.
You will be working for the Financial Services Team, providing an accounts payable function. The successful applicant will be dealing with tasks such as, data processing, reconciling statements, investigating queries, liaising with suppliers and wider teams within the Trust and administrative duties
Main duties of the job
To work within a team providing a high quality, efficient and effective accounts payable service to the Trust. The main duties the post holder will be;
- Register all incoming purchase invoices/credit notes on the Company's finance system before sending out for budget authorisation
- Match Supplier invoices against purchase orders
- Process expenses
- Reconcile supplier statements and deal with supplier queries
The team will work in partnership with Management accounts, Procurement, external suppliers, and other Departments
