Private Patient Medical PA

Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust has a great opportunity for a Medical PA to join our small friendly team on the Parkside Private Patient Ward at Musgrove Park Hospital.

The role involved delivering high quality customer service to consultants, private patients and their families. You'll need to be adaptable as your busy role will include multiple diary management, bookings consultations, theatres and responsible for financial accounts management for your consultants.

Main duties of the job

- To be responsible for providing a private PA and Finance service to Consultants of different specialities - includes diary management, invoicing, debt management, theatres and consultations.

- Ensure that high standards are maintained in terms of quality and output and that an excellent patient experience is provided at all times.

- To use own initiative and work without immediate supervision.

- Network and liaise with both Parkside Private Unit, Kingston Wing and all Trust departments, Staplegrove Anaesthetic Group and the Taunton Nuffield Hospital.
