Full AND Part-Time hours considered..
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 to join our team as a Community Nurse. The area you'd be covering is: Taunton and surrounding villages - the base will be Parkgate in Taunton.
As a community nurse you will be responsible for looking after patients that are housebound, It will involve: End of life care, wound/ leg ulcer treatment and catheter care and much more.
The team covers seven days a week between the hours of 8am-10pm.
Main duties of the job
Support and training will be given in this post. If you are a newly qualified Nurse, we will put you onto our supportive preceptorship programme.
Responsibilities for this post includes:
- Working as part of a team as well as autonomously within the community providing high quality and compassionate care
- Visiting patients in their own home.
- Variety of treatments and skills performed
- Holistic assessment of both complex and simple care needs
- Support the multi disciplinary team in the delivery of care to enable individuals to achieve their person centred goals.
