Job summary
Would you like to play a key role in developing our Benefits of the EHR Programme?
The programme will deliver an electronic health record (EHR) system combining our existing three patient administration systems in Yeovil District Hospital, Musgrove Park Hospital and community/mental health as well as reducing hundreds of our specialist systems. This system will play an important role in enabling us to deliver the best possible care across the country.
You are somebody who is used to working within a highly complex programme, proactively designing and implementing a Benefits Management Strategy. You'll have a clear strategic vision and will actively work with our stakeholders to gain ownership of Benefits in line with our seven stage approach.Negotiation skills?We'd love you to have them!
Your problem solving nature and analytical approach will be key, as you'll be responsible for the overall development and management of the Benefits approach, as well as individual benefits associated with the programme.

Main duties of the job
- You will be responsible for the design, creation and dissemination of reports that will be shared with National NHS bodies as well as bespoke communications with programme and project stakeholders.
- Engage and gain support of all stakeholders for the programme; including Trust Senior Managers and Executives, using negotiating, influencing and motivational skills to illustrate the link of the programme to the Trust Vision, as well as other strategies.
- Work with stakeholders, project managers, senior leaders, potential suppliers and IT technical staff to develop benefit plans
- Manage the implementation of a programme specific Benefits Management Strategy to establish an operational framework for the lifetime of the programme / service, for how the programme/ service will deliver the benefits on which the investment was made, including how benefits will be controlled, managed and successfully realised.
