Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist - Outpatients
Indicative Band 7.
We have 2 roles available - one based at Musgrove Hospital in Taunton and the other based at Yeovil District Hospital - both roles will include community working therefore a UK driving license is essential for this role. We pay mileage.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Therapy Team at Musgrove Park Hospital OR Yeovil District Hospital on a permanent basis with the flexibility to offer part time job share.
The successful individual will be expected to work closely alongside other experienced Band 7 Physiotherapists to develop a Specialist Respiratory Outpatient service providing Physiotherapeutic management for patients with chronic respiratory conditions and breathlessness.
This post will work alongside the Acute MDT and the Hospital at Home service to ensure that patients can be facilitated for treatment in the best location for their treatment location. The post holder will be supported in their own professional development with supervision and training and will be expected to actively participate in the development of others.
These roles are a joint initiative between the Physio Outpatient service and Respiratory Hospital @ Home team with a varied caseload.
Main duties of the job
If you're successful, you will be expected to work closely alongside other experienced Band 7 Physiotherapists to develop a Specialist Respiratory Outpatient service providing Physiotherapeutic management for patients with chronic respiratory conditions and breathlessness.
You will be supported in their own professional development with supervision and training and will be expected to actively participate in the development of others.
This role requires a graduate level state-registered Physiotherapist with relevant clinical experience.
