Main duties of the job
This opportunity is open to Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers. You do not need to be a fully developed Employment Specialist to apply. Training in the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, and in IPS Team Leadership is provided. 1 :1 Supervision is integral and there is peer support through the IPS community of practice. If you are a Band 5 with community or forensic mental health experience and want to progress to a Band 6 leadership role, do consider applying.
We are looking for someone with significant mental health clinical experience, who has the ability or potential to lead, inspire optimism, and supervise others.
This rewarding role will be to provide clinical leadership and supervision for a small team of IPS Job Coaches. It will also be to carry a small caseload of service users with complex needs using the IPS model to support them through all stages of their employment journey, including talking with potential employers and in-work support after an individual starts their new job.
