Job summary
Do you have exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers and relatives whilst remaining sensitive and empathic?
Do you possess a patient focused approach, along with being able to recognise and manage challenging situations in a calm and professional manner?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, helpful and welcoming person, preferably with reception experience, who thrives in a busy, ever changing environment.
Good IT skills are essential, as is a calm and pleasant manner to welcome visitors and answer telephone calls.
Main duties of the job
- Greeting clients and visitors as they arrive at reception.
- Ensuring that all the client information held on the electronic patient record is correct.
- Informing clinicians of the arrival of the client.
- Arranging client transport as required.
- Using various computer systems to book clinics, cancel appointments, arrange appointments.
- Logging any maintenance issues.
- Ordering items for the Directorate via our Procurement team/system.
