Job summary

Project Manager/Lead Band 7 or 8a

This post is designed to provide project management / coordination for Somerset's project with key responsibilities below listed in the job spec.

The successful candidate will have the ability to influence care pathways for Children and young people in Somerset.

** Please note this is a 12-month contract post **

22.5 hours a week

Salary/banding will be dependent on skills and experience. Professional registration desirable

Hosted by CAMHS/Somerset Foundation Trust in collaboration with the ICB

Main duties of the job

  • To improve access into services by removing barriers for all children and young people, but particularly Children Looked After and those not attending mainstream education
  • To co-ordinate a multi-agency approach which acts as an effective co-ordinating forum to identify and evidence the needs of children and young people
  • To identify any gaps in the current provision for CYP in Somerset
  • To improve partnership working between statutory and VCSE providers in Somerset who deliver mental health and emotional wellbeing support to children and young people
  • To guide and make recommendations for commissioners around mental health service provision in Somerset
