Are you a motivated and enthusiastic junior doctor with an interest in Gastroenterology, looking for an exciting opportunity to join a successful and progressive District General Hospital?

Musgrove Park Hospital based in Taunton, the county town of Somerset, has an excellent reputation for providing a comprehensive range of medical, surgical and specialist services.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a clinical fellow (registrar level) in Gastroenterology to join our forward thinking team. The department runs a comprehensive service to West Somerset, with over 2,000 new outpatient referrals to the department and over 11,000 endoscopy procedures in the last year.

You will join our team from August 2023 and you will be with us for a 12 month period. You will have a bespoke job timetable that will be based on your experience and training needs. This will include; support to the inpatient gastroenterology service, regular outpatient clinics, endoscopy training in the relevant modality, some commitment to the GIM on call rota.

This will then allow delivery of service lists during the remainder of the post.
