Job summary
An exciting development opportunity has arisen to join our management team in the Community Mental Health Service in Bridgwater.
We are looking to recruit a registered professional (RMN, OT or social worker) with existing leadership and/or management experience.
This is an exciting time to join a thriving and innovative Mental Health Trust that has received significant investment for mental health services in Somerset and is a trailblazer site for the Community Mental Health Framework.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership and management of the Bridgwater Community Mental Health Service team, providing services to patients in accordance with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, controls and resource constraints.
Within this role you will work alongside existing team managers to support the delivery of community mental health service. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the transformation of services whilst supporting day to day functioning of a community Mental Health Service.
As part of the role will continue to ensure a high standard of care and treatment for patients and to work with other members of the team and other agencies to best meet the patients' health and social needs.
You will play an active role in the development of services in line with the Trust's Strategy and Business Plan and willprovide management supervision to staff within the team as well as providing strong clinical leadership.
