Recruitment Administrator - SWAP Team
This job is now closed
Job summary
Do you want to work on a project that helps reduce unemployment whilst also improving safer staffing across Health and Social Care?
SWAPs stands for Sector-based Work Academy Program.
The SWAPs project was set up in response to the first wave of the pandemic when we were experiencing increasing levels of unemployment locally, whilst also facing a need to recruit at pace for the vaccination service. In its first phases, the SWAPs program acted as a means of recruiting and training people that were unemployed or facing redundancy into becoming vaccinators, and it has had great success in supporting the vaccination service in our fight against Covid-19.
Since then, the SWAPs project has developed and expanded its scope so that it not only supports recruitment within our vaccination service but now support all areas of our business as usual services, as well.
Our SWAPs team works closely with DWP and Weston College to run a 3 week training program designed to give those facing unemployment and redundancy the foundation skills and knowledge they need to take their first step into a career within Health & Social Care.
We are now into our second year of the project and keen to continue its growth so we are looking for colleagues that are driven and creative to help us push this development forward!
