Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to lead an application analyst team dedicated to supporting and improving the Epic electronic patient record (EPR) system. This role requires in-depth specialist knowledge of the Epic system and experience with electronic patient records in the NHS.
Main duties of the job
The eHospital Team Leader will be responsible for the design integrity of their assigned modules, demonstrating expertise and exercising judgment in recommending optimization priorities to senior clinicians and managers. You will work closely with the Senior Team Leader, CCIO and the Design Authority, requiring in-depth technical knowledge of both the Epic application and the business and clinical processes across the organization. The role demands the ability to work in a complex, unstructured, multi-disciplinary environment with minimal guidelines, setting standards for others and interpreting professional and administrative policies.
The eHospital Team Leader will supervise analysts working with clinicians and administrative staff to review workflows and standards within the EPR, facilitating agreement for future development and optimization. They will oversee system testing to ensure functionality and provide user support through regular meetings, help desk, and on-call activities. They will collaborate with the training department to ensure training materials and curricula align with system development and optimization.
