Job summary

Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5) in Oncology at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This post is available to commence immediately until 02 September 2025.

Main duties of the job

This post is suitable for doctors, who have completed their Core General Medical Training and wish to pursue a career in Medical or Clinical Oncology (posts are equivalent to ST3 level Oncology Common Stem).

There will be opportunity to see inpatients and outpatients, and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings for the management of solid tumours. Participation in research and audit projects is strongly encouraged.

The posts are based in the Oncology Department of Addenbrookes Hospital.

Please note that this post does not carry Postgraduate Dean's approval or training recognition.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application is required.

About us

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
