Qualifications

Essential

• Educated to A level or NVQ level 3 Customer Service/ Business Admin /ITQ or equivalent
• Evidence of continuous professional development

Desirable

• A qualification in journalism, marketing or public relations.

Experience

Essential

• Assisting web content management including the managing and maintenance of websites
• Experience of working in a busy clerical/office environment or reception service
• Prioritising, planning and organising own tasks
• Working within guidelines
• Experience of dealing with difficult situations and confrontations
• Data entry experience and documentation
• Experience of IT packages - Microsoft office

Desirable

• Previous experience of working in NHS
• Experience in using content management systems
• Experience of supervising staff

Knowledge

Essential

• Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
• Sound knowledge of office procedures
• Understanding of customer service
• Excellent knowledge of using social media, particularly in the planned way, for example using tools to plan campaigns
