Nursing Associate Apprentice

Job summary
This role provides an opportunity to train to become a Registered Nursing Associate through an apprenticeship; you will earn, learn and incur no debt as the university course fees are fully funded for you.
Whilst earning a full time salary you will undertake a mixture of duties that support the delivery of direct care to our patients for a proportion of your hours whilst completing a two year Nursing Associate Foundation Degree programme with Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge). This comprises academic and work-based learning, theory hours and clinical placement time to enable you to gain experience across health and social care settings and the four fields of Nursing (Adult, Child, Learning Disabilities & Mental Health). Upon completion you will become registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and gain promotion to a Registered Nursing Associate (Band 4) position.
Whilst we value previous care experience, it is not essential as you will receive a comprehensive training programme. You work a variety of rostered shift patterns in a clinical environment during your first 3 to 6 months of employment. If you do not hold the Accelerated National Care Certificate you will complete this within the first four weeks of employment.
You can find out more about the role and the training in our job information pack and from NMC video: Nursing Associate Apprentice
