We are delighted to offer 3 apprenticeships for Apprentice Receptionist Administrators in 3 areas of our Imaging Department - PET CT, X-Ray and Ultrasound. These departments form part of the Radiology Imaging division of the hospital which provides a diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic service for patients in the East of England region. The various imaging techniques within the division are used help to diagnose and treat diseases in the body.

Main duties of the job

As anApprentice Receptionist Administrator, you will be providing administration support within the PET CT, X-Ray and UltrasoundDepartments with duties which include meeting, greeting and registering new patients, booking appointments, maintaining medical records, communicating with internal and external colleagues and patients via email, telephone and face to face and completing general administration tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong organisational skills and have a desire to deliver excellent customer service within their role.

It is ideal if this type of role is new to you, where you can learn and build new skills. You will need to have minimumGCSE Grade 3/D or Functional Skills Level 1 or above in Maths and English. You will be enthusiastic, have a positive work ethic, be keen to learn and able to work in a team. You will receive support to gain a wide range of experience and skills, supervision and mentoring.

There is no upper age limit on joining us as an apprentice. However, please note thatthe post holder for PET-CT must be aged 18+ due to Health & Safety age restrictions in the department.
