Job summary

The Imaging Department at the world renowned Addenbrooke's Hospital (Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) is recruiting.

We are looking for motivated individuals who would like to join the Imaging Portering team.

The team of Porters is a busy and essential part of the Imaging Department, working alongside a multidisciplinary team and working directly to ensure a high standard of patient care. The Porters are often the first staff to greet and care for patients who need to be seen within the department.

You will be required to work a flexible shift pattern, including long days and weekends, with the possibility of additional Bank and overtime hours.

Our current shift pattern is:

08.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday

4 days on / 4 days off (10.00 - 22.00) over a rolling 8 week roster

Main duties of the job

To undertake a range of Portering duties within the Imaging Department which includes transporting patients to and from departments such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound and General Imaging.
