Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Blood Sciences team as an Administrator and Personal Assistant. This dual role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our Blood Sciences department, providing comprehensive administrative support to our team and personal assistance to the Blood Sciences Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

Main duties of the job

To provide a comprehensive and high quality personal assistant and administrative service supporting the Blood Science Operations Manager and Blood Sciences senior team.

  • Educated to A Level or Level 3 Business Admin/IT qualification or equivalent experience including: -English GCSE pass at Grade 4 or above. -Maths GCSE pass at Grade 4 or above.
  • Touch typing certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Audio typing experience.
  • Secretarial qualification (RSA III) or equivalent experience.

Desirable

  • IT specialist, health informatics qualification or equivalent.
  • Team Leader/Management qualification.
  • Medical Terminology Certificate or equivalent.
