We are delighted to offer an apprenticeship in our PR & Communications Team for a Digital Marketing Apprentice. This exciting apprenticeship role is a fantastic opportunity to support theDigital Communications Team, whilst gaining a Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 qualification. Our team is working hard to create audience-focused digital content for our patients, staff & stakeholders that is user-friendly, intuitive & engaging. Your role will be integral in delivering our schedule of content, accurately & on time. You will gain experience in photography & videography, producing content to a high standard in line with CUH identity guidelines, supported by the Digital Content Producer.
We are looking for a friendly, adaptable & well organised person to join our team. Candidates should be enthusiastic, self-motivated & forward thinking with excellent communication and organisational skills, have the ability to use their own initiative, have good attention to detail & be able to multi task & manage their time efficiently as well as being able to adapt to change.
Main duties of the job
As an apprentice you will provide administrative assistance, content and project support for the Trust's main internal and external websites, social media channels and outpatient screens. You will work as a key member of the Digital Communications Team to assist the team in the maintenance of our CUH website, producing creative content, including evidence-based digital campaigns, using the Trust's channels and providing a responsive, efficient and effective engagement and communications service for staff, volunteers and other stakeholders. You will will be the first point of contact and also lead on content and maintenance of the Trust's digital screens in our Outpatients Department, all whilst gaining on-the-job experience and training in the department along with off the job learning.

The contract length is for 24 months and the apprenticeship salary on commencement is £14,400; after 12 months in post this will increase to the National Minimum Wage (depending upon your age).

You will receive support and advice to gain a wide range of experience and skills, supervision and mentoring from the department throughout the post as well as additional support from a dedicated apprenticeship team.You will also gain support in applying for your next step in employment towards the end of your apprenticeship contract. We have a high percentage of previous apprentices who have successfully gained further employment with us with opportunities to gain higher qualifications.
