Job summary

Due to the promotion of the current post holder, the Trust now has a fabulous opportunity foran exceptionally talented, passionate, person-centred HR professional to lead a responsive Employee Relations service and highly motivated and hardworking Employee Relations team.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the Trust's ER practices and HR policies are of high quality and embrace best HR practice. Additionally, you will work closely with our Divisional Heads of Workforce in pro-actively taking forward the Trust's workforce agenda.

If you are passionate about working in HR, have significant HR experience at a senior level in a complex organisation, a demonstrable track record of delivery, a sound understanding of HR best practice and employment law, are highly skilled in the management of complex and challenging employee relations issues, and are able to confidently advise and support managers in executing pragmatic management solutions - we would be delighted to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

To operationally manage the employee relations service and professionally lead and support the employee relations team - thereby ensuring a responsive, legally compliant best practice ER service is provided to both managers and employees.

To work with Divisional Heads of Workforce and the Associate Director of Workforce to ensure all employee relations issues are effectively managed and mitigated.

To deputise for the Associate Director of Workforce as reasonably required.
