Job summary

An enthusiastic person with attention to detail and willingness to learn is required to join the Maxillofacial Laboratory team. Roles will involve a range of routine tasks within the unit, producing laboratory plaster models, maintaining a clean workspace, upkeep of laboratory equipment, measure and replenishing materials and chemistry. Responsible for the production, digital scanning and archiving as part of department records. Previous experience not necessary as full training will be given.

Informal visits are welcome, ring the Laboratory to book a time and date.

Main duties of the job

To provide assistance and support to staff within the Orthodontic and Maxillofacial Laboratory. Producing quality plaster models to deadlines. Measure and replenish materials and stock when required. Maintenance of machinery/equipment/tools. Maintains a high level of cleanliness within the laboratory.

  • Previous experience of dental laboratory work
