Job summary

Are you an experienced Nurse with a keen interest in Trauma and Orthopaedics? Are you looking to further develop your knowledge and skill in this fast paced area and to progress your nursing career as a specialist Nurse? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are recruiting two Specialty Support Nurses to join our dynamic, professional and supportive team here at CUH. Both roles will support patients throughout their pathways with us, however, one of these posts will mainly be based in our Trauma Specialty Support Nurse team and will focus on coordinating care for our trauma patients.

You will be provided with a comprehensive induction programme and will be supported to undertake the clinical assessment skills academic module, alongside other development opportunities.

You will be responsible for the provision of high quality, patient focused care

You will be responsible for assessing, developing and implementing specialist nursing care programmes

You will be responsible for providing specialist advice and support to, and liaising with, other staff
